Job description

One of our clients based in the North-West Province is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Representative with a background in the mining industry . The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of steel and construction, and the ability to engage key decision-makers and arrange meetings (sittings) that lead to real business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Set up and attend sittings / meetings with site managers, engineers, and procurement teams
  • Present the company’s products and services professionally and confidently
  • Build strong and lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Manage leads, follow-ups, and convert contacts into signed deals
  • Provide accurate reports on sales activities, client interactions, and progress
  • Identify and approach potential clients in the mining, steel, and construction sectors

Requirements :

  • Proven sales experience, especially within the mining industry
  • Solid understanding of mining site operations and client engagement procedures
  • Ability to independently arrange and secure meetings with key industry contacts
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly
