R 200000 - R 246000 Annually Basic Salary (Market related, Negotiable)

Our client based in Gauteng is seeking a Sales Representative to join their team. The ideal candidate would be responsible for covering West Rand, Sandton and Midrand areas.

Applicants will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the operation of allocated commercial stores.
  • Evaluate and promote better services to customers where required.
  • Control and monitoring of companies Fixtures.
  • Monitoring of stores monthly sales and growth in accordance with company targets. Implement strategic initiatives as required by the Line Manager.
  • Ensure that all listed products are ordered and displayed in applicable stores. Responsible for ordering and follow-up of all Seasonal and Everyday stock.
  • Evaluate and analyse allocated stores monthly sales and growth in accordance with SAG monthly targets.
  • Implement store disciplines as stipulated in companies Show file.
  • Adhere to and implement company’s procedures as stipulated in the company’s Procedure manual.
Liaising with internal and external customers:
  • Ensure that general correspondence is adhered to as outlined by the Line Manager. Assist in the annual stock take in all stores if and when required.
  • Address complaints and resolve problems within all stores as required.
  • Advise line manager of concerns relating to the operational issues and general correspondence.
Managing of Merchandisers:
  • Responsible for coaching merchandisers, planning, assigning, and directing work disciplining merchandisers; addressing complaints and resolving problems – all in conjunction with the Line manager.
  • Ensure that staff adhere to all company’s procedures and requirements as specified in the company’s Sales procedure manual and Show file.
  • Incumbent to perform other duties as may be required from time to time
Interested applicants must have:

  • At least 5 years Solid Sales Experience

  • Sales experience with a proven sales track record is an advantage
  • Computer Skills in word and Excel
