Job description

Home and Building Automation company, specialising in luxury light and home technology, is looking for a Sales Representative.

POSITION INFO :

The main focus of this role is for the salesperson / specifier to leverage an existing network of architects and interior designers, to grow this network, with an emphasis on product specifications in high-end residential, hospitality, and commercial building projects.

Responsibilities :

  1. Networking : Leverage your existing network and actively expand connections within the architecture and interior design community.
  2. Client Engagement : Build and maintain relationships with architects and interior designers, understand their needs, and promote and specify our products.
  3. Focus on specifying products in building projects with architects and interior designers.
  4. Maintain a basic understanding of technology and interior design.
  5. Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers (architects and designers) daily.
  6. Maintain records of all sales leads and customer accounts.
  7. Educate customers on how products or services benefit them now and in the long term.
  8. Monitor industry competitors, new products, and market trends to identify new products and customer needs.

Essential Requirements :

  • Minimum 3 years of proven success in sales, preferably within the construction, architecture, interior design, or related industries.
  • Extensive network of contacts within the architecture and interior design community.
  • Ability to work autonomously, set goals, and drive results with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with remote work tools, CRM software, and digital communication platforms.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
