POSITION INFO:
Generating leads and driving revenue.
Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities through market analysis and understanding of customer needs.
Negotiate all contracts with prospective clients.
Assist in determining pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports.
Give sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs and collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows as required.
Understand and promote company programs.
Prepare and submit sales contracts for orders.
Visit clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
Maintain client records.
Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and tactics.
Experience in sales, preferably FMCG, groceries.
Own transport.
Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
A commitment to excellent customer service.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
