Our client, an OEM, is a world leader for ventilation and heating technology.

Their South African company is growing exponentially making the need for a highly skilled and experienced Internal Sales Coordinator to support the national sales teams.

POSITION INFO:

As a Sales Coordinator, your role is pivotal in supporting the National sales team and ensuring smooth operations within the sales departments.

You will act as a central point of contact for the team, assisting in administrative tasks, coordinating sales-related activities, and facilitating communication between various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist sales team members in day-to-day operations.
  2. Provide administrative support such as preparing sales proposals, presentations, and quotations.
  3. Coordinate schedules and appointments for sales meetings and conferences.
  4. Be responsible for all customer service interactions.
  5. Respond to customer inquiries and provide information about products or services.
  6. Follow up on sales inquiries to ensure timely and accurate responses.
  7. Process sales orders and maintain sales order records.
  8. Monitor the status of orders and ensure timely delivery to customers.
  9. Act as a liaison between sales teams and other departments (e.g., marketing, finance).
  10. Communicate important feedback from customers internally.
  11. Prepare sales reports and analyze sales data.
  12. Assist in evaluating sales performance metrics.
  13. Maintain and administer the Salesforce / CRM platform.
  14. Maintain and update customer relationship management.
  15. Ensure data accuracy and integrity within CRM records.
  16. Monitor and analyze CRM usage and performance to identify areas of improvement.

Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as a Sales Coordinator or in a similar role.
  2. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Salesforce CRM software.
  5. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
