Overview
Are you a motivated sales professional looking for your next big opportunity? Our client is a successful, growing company in the prepaid electricity meter industry. They're looking for someone to join their team and manage retail and wholesale sales across KwaZulu-Natal.
You'll work independently in your region with support from the head office in Gauteng. This role gives you the chance to grow your career, manage key accounts, and help drive the company's continued success.

Core Purpose
To build and maintain strong relationships with customers, grow sales, and ensure the company's products are visible and well-supported in the KwaZulu-Natal market. This includes keeping existing customers happy, finding new business opportunities, and making sure everything runs smoothly on the ground.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-circle sales management of retail and wholesale accounts within the KwaZulu-Natal territory.
  • Regular client visits and service excellence-driving awareness of new products, resolving queries, and managing complaints.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Identify, target, and pitch to prospective clients, with supporting marketing material.
  • Ensure ongoing retention and expansion of client base.
  • In-store merchandising, promotions, and brand visibility through marketing materials and event support.
  • Attend and support client events, open days, and trade activations.
  • Self-development through ongoing industry research, professional training, and event participation.
  • Sales forecasting and alignment with internal teams for effective stock management and service delivery.
  • Accurate reporting via CRM and sales platforms (Zoho, Repwise, Order Dynamics, MS Office).

Key requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12) - minimum requirement
  • Minimum 3-5 years' proven experience in sales within Retail, Wholesale, or Electrical Wholesalers.
  • Additional certifications in Sales, Marketing, or Business would be a plus
  • Code 08 Driver's License and own reliable transport are essential
  • Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience with client account management and territory coverage.
  • Familiarity with the prepaid electricity or utilities sector will be advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of CRM and ERP systems (Zoho, SAP, Repwise, Order Dynamics).
  • Proven ability to manage stock forecasting and collaborate with internal teams.

PLEASE NOTE: This role is remote based within KwaZulu-Natal (Head Office support in Gauteng) and will require being on the road to service clients and sell throughout the whote region.
