A leading company in the financial services sector is seeking a Sales Representative based in Cape Town. This role involves marketing and selling various products to medical service providers, ensuring client satisfaction, and meeting sales targets. Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in external sales, particularly in medical or financial sectors, possess excellent communication skills, and be willing to travel extensively.
The Sale Representative is required to market and sell the various prefunding and administration products offered by Compsol and Medsol to medical service providers.
Key Performance Areas :
1. SALES AND MARKETING
1.1 Create CompSol and MedSol product and brand awareness in the marketplace.
1.2 Ensure that the basket of products and services (CompSol and MedSol) are proactively marketed to all potential clients in line with company policy.
1.3 Ensure effective followup with potential clients.
1.4 Provide potential clients with the necessary information and try to assist with their decision making process.
1.5 Ensure that weekly monthly and yearly sales targets are met.
2. CLIENT SERVICE
2.1 Ensure that each existing client is visited as per the predetermined visiting requirements.
2.2 Provide clients with the necessary information and assistance where necessary.
2.3 Provide a communication link between client and the Head Office processing staff.
2.6 Monitor the clients satisfaction levels as regards our service on a continuous basis.
2.7 Monitor movements and changes within the clients practice which could influence our business and or put our business at risk or provide further business potential.
2.8 Monitor and effectively report on competitor activity within existing client base and the market place.
3. ADMINISTRATION
3.1 Ensure that your weekly sales report is submitted accurately on time and according to the correct procedure.
3.2 Ensure that weekly call planners are sent shared with Sales manager.
3.3 Ensure that diaries are shared with inbound sales team on a weekly basis.
3.4 Ensure regular interaction with inbound sales team.
3.5 Submit your monthly expenditure report on time.
3.6 Ensure that your monthly expenditure report is completed according to company policy.
3.7 Ensure that your client contracts are completed in full and accurately.
3.8 Keep accurate record of paper work collected on behalf of clients and sent to PE for processing on behalf of clients.
3.9 Keep accurate record of set appointments and ensure that these are kept or communicate changes with clients.
3.10 Ensure that all the relevant client feedback is communicated back to the Claims Administrator / Supervisor.
Requirements
Job Specification :

2. Deadline driven individual able to perform under high pressure and meet set targets
3. Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships
4. Excellent communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
5. Able to read write and speak in English
6. Tertiary qualification in Sales / Marketing will be advantageous
7. Must be able to work from home base and willing to travel extensively within the designated region
Requirements :
1. Applicants are required to have :
a. No active disciplinary warnings; and
b. A valid unendorsed Code 8 South African drivers licence; and
d. Computer Literate in MS Office at an intermediate level
e. Minimum of 2 years experience as an External Sales Representative (client facing). Experience in medical or financial services industry will be advantageous.
2. The recruitment process :
a. Phase 1 Skills testing such as Word Excel Written communication Numeracy Competent applicants will proceed to the next phase
b. Phase 2 Interview / Role Play
c. Phase 3 Psychometric testing & verifications
This position requires the employee to work from home based in Cape Town and will be required to travel extensively in Cape Town and surrounding regions including parts of the Garden Route. Market related basic salary commission benefits including company car cell phone laptop etc
