POSITION OVERVIEW

Based at our Bloemfontein Branch, to further strengthen our local sales team, we are currently seeking a:

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate for this key role will be responsible for:

  • Servicing Northern Cape clients;
  • Achieving assigned personal sales targets;
  • Executing sales tasks in the assigned channel in accordance with the Artisan Sales Strategy.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Deliver sales targets for the channel in the assigned area;
  • Explore new sales potential via new customers and new SKUs per customer;
  • Collect market information, including competitor analysis, and submit reports to the supervisor;
  • Address customer issues and seek optimal solutions;
  • Collaborate with the Technical Department to provide technical support to customers;
  • Coordinate with Marketing Department for customer events such as demos, seminars, and product launches;
  • Coordinate order processing, information management, and customer requests with other departments;
  • Prepare sales forecasts and ensure their accuracy;
  • Manage debt collection and address late payments or bad debts;
  • Assist the Sales Manager in planning and executing strategies to develop market share;
  • Perform regular sales and market reports as required;
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.

PROFILE

  • Matric and Diploma in Sales/Marketing;
  • Experience: 3-5+ years in Sales, preferably B2B, in the Food/FMCG sector;
  • Languages: English, Zulu, Afrikaans advantageous;
  • Other skills: Business and results-driven, presentation skills, strong interpersonal skills, ability to establish contacts, sales and negotiation skills, team player.
