Job description

Hire Resolve's client is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Rep/Key Account Manager to join their team in the steel manufacturing industry based in Mpumalanga. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales and building strong relationships with key accounts.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts in the stainless steel industry
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and meet sales targets
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competition to stay ahead of the market
  • Prepare and present sales proposals to key decision-makers
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement
Requirements
  • Engineering qualifications, such as BEng or BSc / National Diploma in Metallurgy / Mechanical Engineering OR Sales and Marketing Tertiary Qualifications (National Diploma / Degree).
  • 5 years of proven sales / marketing experience / customer interaction, preferably from the Manufacturing environment.
  • Spanish speaking proficiency will be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience in effective team target setting and achievement.
  • Strong process and account management skills are a requirement, with sound negotiation - and presentation skills, which will be expected.
  • Consistently track, report, and analyse your sales pipeline to produce the volume and forecast accuracy required to deliver team and business goals.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to Kwa-Zulu Natal, Eastern/Western Cape or Gauteng will be required.
  • Computer literacy.
