Our Client is looking for a Sales Operations Manager, located in Silverton, within the Automotive Financial Products Sector.

Duties & Responsibilities

Position Summary
The Sales Operations Manager is directly responsible for the management of the Field Sales Managers and sales support in selling Ford Protect products to all dealers and distributors across Southern Africa, Middle East, and Sub-Saharan Africa. The successful incumbent will have product knowledge relevant to extended warranty, maintenance, and service plans.

The Sales Operations Manager will also be responsible for managing and assigning in-house training as well as on-site dealer training and support where required.

Build dealer loyalty and increase dealer satisfaction through partnership, professionalism, trustworthiness, sincerity, a positive attitude, and a business-like appearance in every customer experience.

Minimum Requirements
  1. Matric / N3 Certificate
  2. RE1 and RE5 Certification
  3. Tertiary Sales Qualification and/or Certification
  4. Desirable 5-8 years experience in selling Finance and Insurance products - under supervision if not yet FAIS accredited
  5. In possession of RE1 and RE5 certification
  6. 5-8 years of Account Management experience within the Short-term Insurance and Automotive Industries
  7. Automotive industry-specific product knowledge and application is a must
  8. Solid knowledge of the operational requirements within the Finance and Insurance Industry
  9. Firm understanding of the South Africa Short Term Insurance Regulatory Framework and related legislations.

Responsibilities
  1. Support the development of the local business management function in alignment with the regional strategy.
  2. Assist the local Business Management Manager to implement, administer, and support the Business Management system.
  3. Collect financial data from dealers.
  4. Analyse dealer data quality and provide coaching to accountants to improve the quality of financial reporting.
  5. Support dealers in developing their Chart of Accountant and other accounting-relevant topics.
  6. Map dealers Chart of Account to Business Management system Chart of Account and ensure the ongoing quality of this mapping.
  7. Upload dealers financial data to Business Management system.
  8. Calculate Benchmark and network consolidations.
  9. Prepare and communicate monthly dealers BM reports.
  10. Analyse BM reports and provide comments.
  11. Produce Monthly and Quarterly Network Performance reports and commentaries.
  12. Prepare Ad-hoc reports when required.
