Sales Operations Manager

Job Description

Sovereign, a national supplier of quality chicken products to various markets with operations in five provinces, is seeking a thorough and committed individual for the position of Sales Operations Manager in the Commercial Division based in Gauteng. The role involves implementing the company sales strategy to achieve operational and cost excellence across all areas by liaising with key supply chain stakeholders, planning and coordinating production and distribution activities, maintaining sales administration, and reducing distribution-related costs. The successful candidate will report directly to the Sales Ops & Production Planning Manager. A NQF Level 7 qualification in a relevant field and a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in sales operations are required.

Responsibilities

• Create production plans aligned with sales demand forecasts for Hartbeespoort production facilities.
• Ensure plant balancing with bird numbers and volume from Agri.
• Communicate 'Fresh' orders to relevant parties.
• Maintain communication with key supply chain stakeholders, including customers.
• Update the CRM system regularly with product list and specification changes.
• Collaborate with Production and Warehouse teams to review production plans daily.
• Coordinate with warehouse/logistics teams to ensure correct order capturing and truck processing.
• Work closely with the NPD team to ensure NPD projects are realistic, achievable with available raw materials, and executed timely across all production facilities.
