Job description

We are seeking a creative and results-driven Marketing and Sales Associate to join our South African team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, managing events and campaigns, and analyzing performance metrics to enhance brand visibility and drive sales growth.

Provide support to the Sales Team to meet their objectives, including managing schedules, supporting sales activities across different lines of business, tracking revenue, generating sales reports, and providing high levels of customer service by prioritizing customer requests.

Key Marketing Associate Responsibilities
  1. Develop Marketing Strategies: Create and implement comprehensive marketing plans to achieve business objectives. Conduct market research to identify target audiences, market trends, and competition.
  2. Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social media, email, etc.). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of marketing initiatives. Develop communication plans aligned with marketing goals, and tailor messages to target audiences.
  3. Content Creation: Review and edit content such as press releases, articles, newsletters, speeches, and social media posts, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and consistent tone. Develop marketing materials like brochures, flyers, presentations, and advertisements.
  4. Internal Communications: Manage internal communication channels to keep employees informed about company news, updates, and events in collaboration with HR.
  5. Social Media Management: Manage and grow the company's social media presence by creating engaging content, interacting with followers, and monitoring trends and analytics to optimize performance.
  6. Performance Analysis: Track and analyze marketing campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights. Provide regular reports and data-driven recommendations.
  7. Budget Management: Assist in creating and managing the marketing budget, ensuring effective resource allocation for maximum ROI. Work closely with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales strategies.
  8. Event Management: Support the delivery of high-quality events to raise company and product awareness. Coordinate participation in online and physical events, manage budgets, staffing, contracts, stand design, and logistics. Liaise with vendors and stakeholders, manage the events calendar, research new opportunities, and ensure brand consistency.
  9. CRM and Data Management: Manage event data imports to CRM/marketing automation tools, support event promotion, assist with post-event reporting, and maintain CRM systems like Pega for optimal efficiency.
Sales Associate Job Summary

Carry out administrative duties within the sales team, including preparing sales documents, proposals, agreements, contracts, research papers, and correspondence. Work closely with the team to generate pipeline management reports, handle external documents, liaise with offices on contracts and pricing, and coordinate sales meetings. Maintain and manage CRM systems, support partner onboarding, and create analytical reports to support business development activities.
