Job description

To recruit, maintain, and develop sales representatives and brokers, and set targets.

Develop and maintain sales and marketing plan
  1. Develop an integrated sales & marketing plan.
  2. Implement and align marketing plan with regional plan and submit to management.
  3. Review and update strategic plan regularly.
  4. Compile reports on progress made on strategic plan.
  5. Communicate strategic plan to sales representatives.
Perform recruitment and selection process for sales representatives
  1. Advertise and market representative positions through presentations.
  2. Select applicants in accordance with FSCA requirements, implementing assessment and selection battery.
Conduct training for sales representatives
  1. Facilitate pre-course and post-course training.
  2. Responsible for on-the-job assessment of representatives.
Conduct coaching process
  1. Provide technical support and motivation to representatives.
  2. Coach representatives on improving their selling skills.
  3. Provide recognition through the performance management system.
Conduct training for brokers
  1. Ensure brokers are equipped with sufficient documentation, e.g., application forms.
  2. Handle administration queries on behalf of dedicated brokers.
  3. Check business methods of dedicated brokers and advise accordingly.
  4. Update brokers on Assupol products and services regularly.
  5. Ensure brokers' computer software is up to date regarding Assupol products and services.
  6. Build professional business relationships with brokers.
Identify and develop new and current markets
  1. Identify, penetrate, and develop new markets.
  2. Maintain contacts with key decision-makers and industry resources (new and existing).
  3. Retain and increase market share in existing markets.
  4. Manage business retention.
  5. Conduct product presentations in the market.
Maintain production targets and retain business
  1. Ensure and monitor achievement of set production targets.
  2. Maintain business retention.
Comply with FAIS requirements
  1. Supervise representatives when rendering services under supervision.
  2. Submit supervision evidence to MSSI monthly.
  3. Mentor and train supervisees to ensure proper understanding of products.
  4. Observe meetings between representatives and clients.
Compliance
  1. Handle complaints and track the number of complaints received.
  2. Track complaints referred for investigation (forensic).
  3. Track complaints referred for debarment hearings based on outcomes from the debarment committee.
Training and Awareness
  1. Provide refresher training.
  2. Conduct new product training.
  3. Maintain records of advice and completion of application forms.
Other
  1. Adhere to the code of conduct, TCF, and comply with risk and audit requirements.
  2. Display the company's values and culture.
  3. Provide leadership to your team to help them achieve their targets.
