Develop and maintain sales and marketing plan
- Develop an integrated sales & marketing plan.
- Implement and align marketing plan with regional plan and submit to management.
- Review and update strategic plan regularly.
- Compile reports on progress made on strategic plan.
- Communicate strategic plan to sales representatives.
Perform recruitment and selection process for sales representatives
- Advertise and market representative positions through presentations.
- Select applicants in accordance with FSCA requirements, implementing assessment and selection battery.
Conduct training for sales representatives
- Facilitate pre-course and post-course training.
- Responsible for on-the-job assessment of representatives.
Conduct coaching process
- Provide technical support and motivation to representatives.
- Coach representatives on improving their selling skills.
- Provide recognition through the performance management system.
Conduct training for brokers
- Ensure brokers are equipped with sufficient documentation, e.g., application forms.
- Handle administration queries on behalf of dedicated brokers.
- Check business methods of dedicated brokers and advise accordingly.
- Update brokers on Assupol products and services regularly.
- Ensure brokers' computer software is up to date regarding Assupol products and services.
- Build professional business relationships with brokers.
Identify and develop new and current markets
- Identify, penetrate, and develop new markets.
- Maintain contacts with key decision-makers and industry resources (new and existing).
- Retain and increase market share in existing markets.
- Manage business retention.
- Conduct product presentations in the market.
Maintain production targets and retain business
- Ensure and monitor achievement of set production targets.
- Maintain business retention.
Comply with FAIS requirements
- Supervise representatives when rendering services under supervision.
- Submit supervision evidence to MSSI monthly.
- Mentor and train supervisees to ensure proper understanding of products.
- Observe meetings between representatives and clients.
Compliance
- Handle complaints and track the number of complaints received.
- Track complaints referred for investigation (forensic).
- Track complaints referred for debarment hearings based on outcomes from the debarment committee.
Training and Awareness
- Provide refresher training.
- Conduct new product training.
- Maintain records of advice and completion of application forms.
Other
- Adhere to the code of conduct, TCF, and comply with risk and audit requirements.
