Project Scope :

The role will drive sales of Technology solutions for the Education sector within the South African market.

It involves building strategic relationships with individuals and institutions in the education landscape, understanding their needs, and demonstrating how the target technology can enhance teaching and learning processes.

The ideal candidate has a strong proven track record in sales, deep understanding of the education sector in South Africa, and previous experience with Cloud, Tech, and SaaS solutions dedicated to the Education sector.

The range of activities includes strategic planning, Opportunity Generation, Orchestration, Pipeline management, Partner / Channel coordination, and ultimately driving business from new sales, renewals, and upsells.

Other activities may involve :

Needs Analysis : Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand specific challenges and goals in various accounts and tailor offerings accordingly.

Product Demonstrations : Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value and benefits of the technology solutions.

Proposal Development : Develop and deliver competitive proposals to support the sales process.

Market Intelligence :

Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the education sector.

Collaboration :

Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer experience post-sales.

Profile requirements :

Deep understanding of Tech / SaaS / Cloud Education Products that enhance teaching and learning experiences for educational institutions.

Strong knowledge of sales and opportunity management.

Demonstrable understanding of the South African education landscape, including current trends, challenges, and key stakeholders.

Experience working with government agencies and educational institutions in South Africa is a significant advantage.

Strong ability to articulate the value proposition of technology solutions to diverse audiences, including educators, administrators, and IT professionals.
