Sales Manager - Racking & Shelving Solutions (JB5286)
Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
Salary: R30 000 - R60 000 CTC plus commission
Type: Permanent

A market leader in manufacturing cold-formed steel sections and racking components is expanding into direct B2C sales and reseller networks. They are looking for a technical and commercially astute Sales Manager to lead this exciting growth phase.


This role will focus on securing new business with resellers, distributors, and end clients while leveraging your existing network to drive market share. You will be supported by an established internal sales team and a highly capable manufacturing facility.


Minimum Requirements:
  1. Matric
  2. Related qualification advantageous
  3. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly
  4. Minimum 5 years experience in racking, shelving, or steel-based B2B sales
  5. Proven ability to grow a customer base, preferably with an existing network in the industry
  6. Technically inclined with a solid understanding of the industry

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drive new business development across the shelving and racking verticals (retail, warehousing, logistics).
  2. Build and maintain strong client relationships with contractors, resellers, distributors, and project managers.
  3. Develop channel partnerships and reseller agreements across SA and neighbouring markets.
  4. Leverage your network to onboard key accounts and grow market footprint.
  5. Collaborate with internal sales and technical teams for quoting, design, and fulfilment.
  6. Represent the company at industry events, client presentations, and site visits.
  7. Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and pricing models to remain competitive.
  8. Maintain accurate CRM reporting, sales forecasts, and customer pipeline.
