Responsible for managing a team of account executives (5 fte) and selling SAP's products and solutions to SAP's customers in the Public Sector, focused on named accounts. Maintains customer relationships and influences customers' requirements' specifications. Typically carries a quota.
Manages resources, ensuring business critical & innovative results. Builds action plans and makes operational decisions on policies, tactics, and resources critical to the function's business success to ensure delivery against strategy of the function or team. Accountable for annual goals established for team or department. Directs activities of a team or department of professionals and supports staff. Co-ownership of Public Sector strategy with industry experts. Alignment of Public Sector strategy with the sales go-to market. Execution of public sector go-to market.
Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a team or department. Works collaboratively with direct reports. Regularly applies expertise in day-to-day activities.
Increasing managerial experience. Sound professional experience. Demonstrates all management responsibilities: create the future; build a team; develop people; manage performance.
Builds strategic partnerships with key decision makers in customer & partner organizations. Fluent communication skills in both English.
This role is based in South Africa, and we are not able to consider candidates who require relocation.
