We are seeking an experienced On-Trade Sales Manager, based in Durban, to develop and execute sales strategies, manage the sales team, and build strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will be a motivated leader with a proven track record of achieving targets and inspiring teams.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree qualification in Marketing, Sales or a related field
- A valid driver's license
EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
- Proven track record in Sales Management roles
- Relevant experience in the on-premises environment
- Demonstrated ability to develop, coach, and motivate teams professionally
- Goal-oriented and focused individual
- Excellent communication skills are essential
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to cultivate positive working relationships
- Willing to work overtime and weekends, engaging with trade partners and staff events, etc.
- Strong administrative capabilities
- Must be self-motivated and results-driven
- Must be assertive
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cascade Edwards Snell's On-Trade strategy and objectives to the channel
- Brand performance by channel and outlet
- Ensure that value and volume is a key driver of all activities
- Identify availability and volume opportunities
- Achieve minimum execution standards and regional market share targets
- Management and development of the On-Trade team
- Ensure the On-Trade team is living our core values, that they are aware of the company's strategic priorities and how they are contributing to achieving them
- Ensure correct implementation of national promotions
- Design and implement innovative regional promotions
- Ensure adherence to Edwards Snell's promotional standards
- Manage the return on investment of promotions
- Ensure that all discounts offered fall within the parameters of the quality discount and strategic schedule
- Communicate all credit risks & irregularities in trade to the National Head of On-Trade
- Compile weekly and monthly reports
- Ensure effective interaction with the telesales team
- Build and manage relationships with key ORD and IRD partners in the region
- Work closely with the national ORD KAM
- Work closely cross-functionally with the regional field sales team to deliver regional goals
