Main Purpose

To recruit, maintain, and develop sales representatives and brokers, and set targets.

Develop and maintain sales and marketing plan

  1. Develop an integrated sales & marketing plan
  2. Implement and align marketing plan with regional plan and submit to management
  3. Review and update strategic plan regularly
  4. Compile reports on progress made on strategic plan
  5. Communicate strategic plan to sales representatives

Perform recruitment and selection process for sales representatives

  1. Advertise and market representative positions through presentations
  2. Select applicants in accordance with FSCA requirements, implementing assessment selection battery

Conduct training for sales representatives

  1. Facilitate pre-course and post-course training
  2. Responsible for on-the-job assessment of representatives

Conduct coaching process

  1. Provide technical support and motivation to representatives
  2. Coach representatives on improving selling skills
  3. Provide recognition through performance management system

Conduct training for brokers

  1. Ensure brokers are equipped with necessary documentation, e.g., application forms
  2. Handle administration queries for brokers
  3. Check and advise on business methods of brokers
  4. Update brokers on products and services regularly
  5. Ensure brokers' software is up to date with products and services
  6. Build professional relationships with brokers

Identify and develop markets

  1. Identify, penetrate, and develop new markets
  2. Negotiate stop order markets
  3. Maintain contacts with key decision makers and industry resources
  4. Retain and increase market share
  5. Manage business retention
  6. Conduct product presentations in the market

Maintain production targets and business retention

  1. Ensure and monitor achievement of production targets
  2. Maintain business retention

Comply with FAIS requirements

  1. Supervise representatives rendering services under supervision
  2. Submit supervision evidence monthly to MSSI
  3. Mentor and train supervisees on product knowledge
  4. Observe meetings between representatives and clients

Compliance

  1. Handle complaints and track their status
  2. Manage investigations and debarment processes

Training and Awareness

  1. Provide refresher and new product training
  2. Maintain records of advice and financial needs analysis
  3. Ensure completion of application forms

Other responsibilities

  1. Adhere to the code of conduct, TCF, and risk and audit requirements
  2. Display company values and culture
  3. Provide leadership to your team to achieve targets
