SUMMARY :

Sales Manager | Gauteng

POSITION INFO : ROLE PURPOSE

Lead and manage a team of Financial Advisers to provide clients with compliant financial planning and product solutions. Grow and manage the branch footprint through new business development, recruiting new advisers, and supporting a client experience focused on financial wellness.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree (sales, marketing, or related field)
  • FAIS compliant KI qualification (advantageous and required within 6 months)
  • 3-5 years’ experience in retail industry (preferred)
  • Proven sales management and adviser recruitment track record (advantageous)
  • In-depth product knowledge

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop strategies to maximize new business within the MFP network while maintaining client relationships
  • Manage and grow new and existing portfolios through branch advisers, including recruiting NTI and NTM advisers
  • Ensure compliance with FAIS and related legislation
  • Manage expenses within budget
  • Act as primary communication channel with advisers
  • Motivate and inspire advisers to achieve and exceed targets
  • Maintain relationships with advisers and stakeholders to identify growth opportunities
  • Support the implementation of strategic initiatives and digital platform adoption
  • Promote the MFP culture within the branch
  • Develop plans to open new markets and demographics
  • Oversee adviser supervision and business continuity planning
  • Drive client reintermediation and engagement strategies
  • Lead and develop the team to foster a positive work environment
  • Support compliance, risk management, and governance policies in partnership with Advice Manager
