Job Scope

The Sales Manager is accountable for the promotion of the company and its respective products/services through a well-defined strategy and sound partnerships with existing and potential customers within the assigned country. They work towards optimizing sales volumes, acquiring new partnerships, and coordinating marketing programs and activities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Define the sales strategy and roadmap of the assigned product/service line.
  2. Establish sales budgets and targets and cascade to the team accordingly.
  3. Manage the entire sales lifecycle from prospecting to closing.
  4. Specify market requirements for current and future products/services by conducting market research supported by ongoing visits to existing and potential customers.
  5. Research, map, and recruit potential partners in the assigned country.
  6. Lead vendor relations in alignment with the company’s management and strategy in the assigned country.
  7. Ensure proper storage, tracking, and control of inventory through an accurate stock management system.
  8. Develop close relationships with top partners in the assigned country.
  9. Assist in building and maintaining a solid channel/customer database, analyze data, and develop metrics to evaluate loyalty and identify new opportunities.
  10. Secure the highest level of engagement and support to channel partners and respond to issues and/or queries to meet customers’ needs efficiently.
  11. Coordinate closely with the marketing team to design and implement marketing activities.
  12. Oversee the implementation of targeted programs and marketing activities.
  13. Develop and deliver accurate sales forecasts and market development reports aligned with business objectives.
  14. Promote the company and its products/services within the region.
  15. Implement available systems (e.g., Salesforce CRM) for leads, opportunity, and deal registration management to improve efficiency and standardization.

Position Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, or related fields.

Experience

  • At least 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in selling Data & AI solutions like Informatica, IBM, Astera, Talend, etc.
  • Experience in Sales, Retail, or Business Development roles.
