SUMMARY :

Hospitality Hire SA is recruiting for a strategic and target-focused Sales Manager on behalf of a well-established corporate hotel in Sandton. Known for its bold design and business-lifestyle fusion, the hotel is looking for a sales professional who understands the value of relationships, persistence, and creative deal-making in the STO and PCO segments.

This opportunity is ideal for a dynamic hospitality sales expert who actively builds pipelines, nurtures partnerships, and delivers tailored offerings that go beyond just space and rates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Take charge of building business from Standard Tour Operators (STOs), Professional Conference Organisers (PCOs), and DMCs. You’ll craft custom packages, build strong industry relationships, and work closely with events and operations to ensure seamless client experiences.

POSITION INFO :

  • Grade 12 (essential)
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ hotel sales experience focused on STO & PCO markets
  • Confident using CRM tools and preparing sales reports
  • Proven ability to drive revenue and close deals
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • South African citizenship required

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS :

  • Actively prospect and secure new travel and conferencing business
  • Build and maintain trusted industry partnerships
  • Create bespoke proposals that go beyond room hire
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure flawless event execution
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends
  • Consistently meet or exceed revenue targets
