Description
- Recruit, develop, and maintain sales representatives within Cornerstone regions.
- Plan and implement regional sales strategies to meet targets.
- Develop and communicate sales plans to the team.
- Define individual roles and responsibilities.
- Recruit resources as per HR plans.
- Plan infrastructure needs such as vehicles, offices, and furniture.
- Participate in provincial budgeting processes.
- Implement and monitor company policies and procedures.
- Manage and evaluate sales staff performance monthly.
- Prepare monthly management reports.
Expense Budget Management
- Monitor expenses against budgets.
- Investigate deviations and recommend corrective actions.
- Manage petty cash requisitions.
- Report on budget deviations.
Customer & Stakeholder Relations
- Address customer queries and concerns.
- Understand stakeholder policies affecting the business.
- Deploy appropriate interaction strategies.
Communication Management
- Conduct stakeholder analysis.
- Understand different markets.
- Align with company themes and messaging.
Regional Office & Client Services Management
- Manage regional sales force recruitment, training, and performance.
- Visit districts and sites regularly.
- Maintain the image of Cornerstone at branch offices.
- Oversee administrative activities and liaise with provincial support.
- Support client services and oversee sales staff and offices.
Requirements
Formal Education
- Matric qualification.
- Relevant qualification recognized by the FSCA.
Technical/Legal Certification
- Regulatory Examination Level 5 (Representatives) - advantageous.
- Regulatory Examination Level 1 (Key Individuals) - advantageous.
- 30 or 60 credits on NQF level 2 (depending on industry experience).
- 60 or 120 credits on NQF level 5 (depending on industry experience).
Experience
- Minimum 1 year relevant management experience.
- At least 6 months in the insurance industry.
- 6 months advice and intermediary experience in category A (Assistance business).
- Experience in sales, retail, or business development roles.
