Sales Manager : Cornerstone

Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

To recruit, maintain, and develop sales representatives and set targets within Cornerstone Regions.

Job Responsibilities

1. Plan and Implement Sales Plan at Regional Level

• Develop sales plan to attain set goals/targets and communicate the plan to sales teams.
• Identify & agree on individual roles and responsibilities.
• Recruit resources according to HR Plan.
• Plan for infrastructure requirements – vehicles, offices, furniture, policy books, etc.
• Participate in Provincial budgeting process.
• Evaluate progress against goals monthly.
• Prepare monthly management reports.

• Monitor expenses against budget.
• Track deviations, investigate reasons & recommend corrective actions.
• Assist with management of petty cash requisitions.
• Prepare management reports on deviations.

• Understand the impact of stakeholder policies on regional business.
• Deploy appropriate interactions and processes.

• Conduct stakeholder analysis (who's who).
• Manage regional office, administration, and client services.
• Visit districts/sites to ensure proper representation of Cornerstone.
• Oversee regional administrative activities.
• Liaise with provincial administration on training needs & support.
• Assist with client services and oversee sales staff & offices.

Job Requirements

Formal Education

• Matric
• Relevant qualification recognized by the FSCA

Technical / Legal Certification

• Regulatory Examination Level 5: Representatives (advantageous)
• Regulatory Examination Level 1: Key Individuals (advantageous)
• 30 or 60 credits on NQF Level 2 (depending on appointment date)
• or 60 or more credits on NQF Level 5 (depending on appointment date)

Experience

• Minimum 6 months in the insurance industry.
• At least 6 months advice and intermediary experience in category A (Assistance business).
