Our client in the building industry has a position available for an Export Sales Manager.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Sales / Marketing / Business Administration / Supply Chain Management
- 5+ Years' experience in traveling to SADC Countries promoting products and brands to the construction industry.
- Sound knowledge of export documentation, cross-border duties, and regulations.
- Proven experience in export business, preferably in the same industry.
- Thorough knowledge of foreign trade regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong understanding of levers to develop new business in Africa.
Responsibilities
- Develop, structure and manage the business portfolio in SADC Countries.
- Sound knowledge of market data and dynamics.
- Oversee all aspects of international trade and ensure compliance with all regulations and laws.
- Maintain database of customers and markets for pre-seed, expansion, and license opportunities.
- Represent the company's range of products and services.
- Develop and maintain a customer and prospect database.
- Establish and maintain business relationships with partners within SADC countries.
- Build brand awareness and value.
- Expand service offerings by obtaining new service contracts.
- Provide technical support to customers.
- Manage annual budgets for capital and operational expenses.
- Achieve sales, turnover, forecasts, and budgets targets.
- Present weekly/monthly market trend reports, including competitor analysis.
- Travel to different provinces and SADC countries to promote products/brands in retail hardware stores, construction sites, and block yards.
- Maintain end-to-end tracking for indirect customers.
- Evaluate and execute price adjustments aligned with growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with PPM, supply & logistics manager, and back-office teams to streamline customer experience.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with own transport.
