Job description

Job Title: Sales / Store Manager
Department: Retail (Technical)

Purpose:
Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue, attract new customers, and retain existing ones.

Reporting Structure:
Reports to the Retail Regional Manager and oversees sales and operational staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve targets.

  • Monitor sales trends and implement strategies for growth.

  • Lead and mentor the sales team, ensuring performance goals are met.

  • Maintain strong customer relationships and resolve complaints.

  • Oversee sales processes, stock levels, and operational efficiency.

  • Conduct regular team meetings and provide training and guidance.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

  • Manage administrative tasks, including reporting and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Education: Matric (Grade 12); managerial courses advantageous.

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in sales, with at least 3 years in a retail environment.

  • Skills: Leadership, negotiation, customer service, reporting, and strong MS Office proficiency.

  • Attributes: Target-driven, self-motivated, strong communicator, and problem-solver.

  • Other: Valid driver's license and willingness to travel when needed.
