Duties and Responsibilities (Not Limited To) :
- Ensure effective management and development of the sales department.
- Drive growth of the sales portfolio (new business) in line with business strategy.
Minimum Requirements :

- Tertiary qualification in Sales / Marketing (optional but advantageous)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience at sales management level within a manufacturing company
- Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
Key Responsibilities :
- Achieve sales revenue growth through acquisition of new customers and expansion into new markets
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies
- Ensure accurate monthly sales forecasting and achievement of forecast
- Monitor and manage monthly order book
- Develop and maintain annual sales budgets
- Lead the sales team effectively through resource allocation and daily sales monitoring
- Conduct weekly sales meetings focused on retention and growth of customer base
- Approve weekly sales call plans
- Compile and submit weekly sales reports (new business, forecast, open quotes, lost / at-risk customers, etc.)
- Represent the sales team at weekly management meetings
- Attend morning production meetings to align sales priorities
- Act as a company representative at customer meetings as part of the management team
- Collaborate with factory manager on pricing of new inquiries
- Present tooling costs to the General Manager for approval
- Monitor and resolve overdue debtor accounts
- Ensure timely closure of credit applications by the sales team

- Effective team player within a high-performance environment
- Understanding of corrugated manufacturing processes is advantageous
