Experienced Sales Manager Required

A well-established chemical company specializing in industrial chemicals and contract manufacturing, delivering high-quality products to the South African market since 1995. Our product range includes a broad and growing selection of cleaning chemicals for industries such as hospitality, automotive, engineering, construction, veterinary, food, and beverage.

Requirements:
  • Driver's License
  • Grade 12
  • 5-10 years of experience in a Sales Managerial position
  • Advanced computer and Excel skills
  • Strong leadership skills
Responsibilities:
  • Manage a sales team of no less than 12 people
  • Achieve profitable results through team development, motivation, counseling, skills, and product knowledge enhancement
  • Create business plans covering sales targets, competitive activity, promotional strategies, and sales efforts
  • Meet sales targets and execute promotional programs and plans
  • Promote the company's presence across markets
  • Manage sales administration, operational reporting, and streamline processes
  • Ensure sales activities align with company standards
  • Plan, direct, organize, and control sales and telesales teams to meet objectives
  • Monitor team performance through reports and regular meetings
  • Implement appraisal systems outlining responsibilities and performance standards
  • Observe sales representatives in the field regularly
  • Provide ongoing training to ensure product knowledge and presentation skills
