Sales Manager | Luxury Safari Lodge | Johannesburg
Salary : R55,000 (Negotiable DOE)

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager for a prestigious luxury safari lodge based in Johannesburg. This role requires a results-driven individual with a strong background in sales and hospitality, who can develop and drive business strategies to grow the brand's presence in both domestic and international markets.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets
Manage and grow relationships with existing trade partners, tour operators, and agents
Identify new business opportunities and market segments for growth
Oversee all aspects of sales operations, including account management and reporting
Represent the lodge at trade shows, networking events, and industry workshops
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients and partners
Work closely with marketing teams to align sales and promotional efforts
Track and analyse sales performance metrics to optimize sales activities
Provide regular feedback and insights to management on market trends and competitor activity
Ensure a high level of client satisfaction and maintain strong long-term relationships
Requirements :
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar sales role within the luxury travel or hospitality sector
Strong existing relationships within the travel trade and tourism industry
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Tourism, or related field is advantageous
