Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets for new and pre-owned aircraft.
- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with buyers, brokers, aircraft owners, and operators.
- Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline from lead generation through to closing.
- Negotiate terms and close sales transactions, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and internal policies.
- Coordinate with legal, finance, and technical teams to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform pricing strategies and sales tactics.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings domestically and internationally as required.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance updates to senior management.
- Manage and mentor a team of junior sales staff (if applicable).
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in business, Aviation Management, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years experience in aircraft sales or high-value asset sales.
- Strong understanding of aircraft types, values, and the aviation sales process (including documentation, escrow, and registration).
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Preferred Attributes
- Existing network within the aviation industry (operators, brokers, OEMs, etc.).
- Multilingual skills are a plus.
- FAA or EASA aviation certifications (pilot license, maintenance background, etc.) are an advantage.
