Job description

Develop and maintain sales and marketing plan
  1. Develop an integrated sales & marketing plan
  2. Implement and align marketing plan with regional plan and submit to management
  3. Review and update strategic plan on a regular basis
  4. Compile reports on progress made on strategic plan
  5. Communicate strategic plan to sales representatives
Recruitment and Training
  1. Perform recruitment and selection process for sales representatives
  2. Advertise and market representative positions through presentations
  3. Select applicants in accordance with FSCA requirements and implement assessment selection battery
  4. Conduct training to sales representatives
  5. Facilitate pre-course and post-course training
  6. Responsible for on-the-job assessment of representatives
  7. Conduct coaching processes
  8. Provide technical support and motivation to representatives
  9. Coach representatives on improving their selling skills
  10. Provide recognition through performance management system
Broker and Market Development
  1. Conduct training to brokers
  2. Ensure brokers are equipped with sufficient office documentation (e.g., application forms)
  3. Handle administration queries on behalf of dedicated brokers
  4. Check business methods of dedicated brokers and advise accordingly
  5. Update brokers on Assupol products and services regularly
  6. Ensure computer software of brokers is up to date regarding Assupol products and services
  7. Build professional business relationships with brokers
  8. Identify and develop new and current markets
  9. Identify, penetrate, and develop new markets
  10. Negotiate stop order markets
  11. Maintain contacts with key decision makers and insurance industry resources (new and existing)
  12. Retain and increase market share in existing markets
  13. Manage business retention
  14. Conduct product presentations in the market
  15. Maintain production targets and retain business
  16. Ensure and monitor set production targets are achieved
Compliance and Supervision
  1. Supervise representatives when rendering services under supervision
  2. Submit supervision evidence to MSSI monthly
  3. Mentor and train supervisees to ensure proper understanding of products
  4. Observe meetings between representatives and clients
Complaints and Training
  1. Monitor number of complaints received, referred for investigation, or debarment hearing
  2. Provide refresher training and new product training
  3. Maintain records of advice and financial needs analysis
  4. Complete application forms accurately
Other Responsibilities

  2. Comply with risk and audit requirements
