The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the commercial roadmap and delivering business growth through innovation and strategic engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Define, develop, and execute comprehensive sales strategies tailored to the mining sector.
  2. Lead high-level sales engagements and represent the company to senior stakeholders and executive clients.
  3. Review and analyze sales pipelines, forecasts, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with business goals.
  4. Market Expansion and Product Innovation
  • Identify and recommend new products based on market trends, client needs, and technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to guide product development from concept to launch.
  • Lead the formulation of go-to-market strategies for new offerings.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients in the mining sector.
    • Act as a senior liaison for strategic accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
    • Deliver tailored solutions that align with client objectives and industry needs.
  • Leadership and Team Development
    • Recruit, manage, and develop the sales team, establishing clear KPIs and performance metrics.
    • Promote a high-performance culture focused on results, accountability, and collaboration.
    • Provide mentorship to nurture emerging sales leaders within the team.
  • Market Analysis and Strategic Input
    • Monitor and interpret industry trends, competitor activity, and economic developments.

    Requirements
    • Minimum of 15 years of experience in the mining sector, including at least 5 years in a senior sales management role.
    • Proven ability to lead sales strategy and present at the executive level, including to board members and C-suite stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated success in new business development, market expansion, and product launch.
    • Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
    • Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach and a deep understanding of the mining industry landscape.
    • A relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, or Engineering is preferred.
