The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading a team of Business Development Consultants in the Western Cape. The Business Development Consultant (BDC) sales channel is a face-to-face tied agency targeting high net worth individuals and small to medium-sized corporates for the company’s products.
The purpose of the role is to execute the company’s sales strategy, including achieving product sales targets and delivering an excellent, consistent customer experience across all products at the lowest possible cost. This role involves leading and directing the BDC channel, motivating and inspiring the team to achieve outstanding results. The Sales Manager is accountable for understanding the regional customer base, identifying growth opportunities, and managing resources efficiently to enhance operational effectiveness. Additionally, the role ensures compliance with legislative and process requirements, maintains audit standards, and fosters staff development, transformation, and employment equity.
