Job description

Main Purpose

To recruit, maintain, and develop sales representatives and brokers, and set targets.

Develop and maintain sales and marketing plan
  1. Develop an integrated sales & marketing plan
  2. Implement and align marketing plan with regional plan and submit to management
  3. Review and update strategic plan regularly
  4. Compile reports on progress made on strategic plan
  5. Communicate strategic plan to sales representatives
Perform recruitment and selection process for sales representatives
  1. Advertise and market representative positions through presentations
  2. Select applicants in accordance with FSCA requirements and assessment selection battery implementation
Conduct training for sales representatives
  1. Facilitate pre-course and post-course training
  2. Responsible for on-the-job assessment of representatives
Conduct coaching process
  1. Provide technical support and motivation to representatives
  2. Coach representatives on improving selling skills
  3. Recognize performance through the management system
Conduct training for brokers
  1. Ensure brokers have sufficient documentation (e.g., application forms)
  2. Handle administrative queries for brokers
  3. Check and advise on business methods of brokers
  4. Update brokers on products and services regularly
  5. Ensure brokers' software is up to date
  6. Build professional relationships with brokers
Identify and develop markets
  1. Identify, penetrate, and develop new markets
  2. Negotiate stop order markets
  3. Maintain contacts with industry decision makers
  4. Retain and increase market share
  5. Manage business retention
  6. Conduct product presentations
Maintain production targets and business retention
  1. Ensure achievement of set production targets
  2. Maintain business retention
Comply with FAIS requirements
  1. Supervise representatives rendering services
  2. Submit supervision evidence monthly
  3. Mentor and train supervisees
  4. Observe meetings with clients
Compliance
  1. Handle complaints and investigations
  2. Manage debarment procedures
Training and Awareness
  1. Provide refresher and new product training
  2. Maintain records of advice and financial needs analysis
  3. Ensure proper completion of application forms
Other responsibilities
  1. Adhere to the code of conduct, TCF, and risk/audit requirements
