A global leader in fully integrated silicone raw materials requires the above to manage key accounts and support the growth of speciality silicones within a variety of different manufacturing industries within South Africa.
Position information
POSITION INFO :
The successful candidate will be responsible for :
- Manage key accounts and support the growth of speciality silicones within a variety of different manufacturing industries within South Africa.
- Identifying and engaging with clients across multiple industrial manufacturing sectors.
- Presenting and promoting speciality silicone-based product solutions to various manufacturing customers (adhesives, sealants, coatings, personal care, etc.).
- Developing strong relationships with new and existing customers to understand their needs and propose appropriate solutions.
- Collaborating with internal technical, marketing, and teams to ensure timely delivery of customer solutions.
- Identifying new business opportunities through market research, competitor analysis, and customer engagement.
- Participating in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to increase brand visibility and network with potential clients.
- Preparing sales reports, forecasts, and presentations to track progress and support decision-making.
- Responding to customer inquiries promptly and professionally, providing product information and technical support where required.
- Monitoring customer satisfaction and proactively addressing any issues to strengthen relationships.
- Achieving agreed sales targets, KPIs, and growth objectives.
Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
Minimum qualifications
Minimum requirements for the role :
- A diploma or degree in either or a related sciences qual if preferred but not essential.
- Previous sales experience having sold raw materials into the industrial or related manufacturing industries is essential for the role.
- Must have excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic CRM knowledge is preferred.
