Job description

As Sales Head, you will be accountable for delivering the budget and revenue forecasts for the Africa division. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall strategy in agreement with the Executive Committee (EXCO). Your role will ensure the sustainability of revenue growth across LexisNexis SADC permitted African territories.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop revenue contingency plans to address unforeseen variances and ensure targets are met.
  2. Generate and sustain a new business pipeline for all LexisNexis product offerings in assigned territories.
  3. Implement the annual strategic plan as agreed with the Executive Team in South Africa.
  4. Monitor and pursue opportunities in new markets and report daily on progress via our CRM system.
  5. Compile and deliver quotes, proposals, and tender documents.
  6. Research and stay informed about international and local trends and product developments.
  7. Develop marketing campaigns to increase awareness of our products and services in the SADC and broader African markets.
  8. Develop, implement, and monitor visitation programs to source new customers and opportunities.
Requirements
  1. Degree in Law, Marketing, or Business Management.
  2. Experience in selling technology solutions in the legal sector.
  3. Experience in selling governance, risk, and compliance software solutions in the corporate sector.
  4. Ability to embody LexisNexis values in all work aspects.
  5. Good judgment, strategic thinking, and results-oriented mindset.
  6. Political savvy, patience, flexibility, and creativity.
  7. Excellent customer relationship management skills.
  8. Willingness and ability to travel within African countries.
