About the Role

As Sales Head, you will be accountable for delivering budget and revenue forecasts for the South Africa division. You will be responsible for developing and implementing overall strategy as agreed with the EXCO, ensuring the sustainability of revenue growth for our product offerings throughout LexisNexis South Africa.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop revenue contingency plans to account for unforeseen variances and ensure targets are met.
  2. Generate and sustain new business pipelines for all LexisNexis product offerings in assigned territories.
  3. Implement the annual strategic plan in collaboration with the Executive Team in South Africa.
  4. Monitor opportunities in new markets and record progress in our CRM system.
  5. Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and tender documents.
  6. Research international and local trends and product developments.
  7. Develop marketing campaigns to increase awareness in the SA and African markets.
  8. Develop and monitor visitation programs to source new customers and opportunities.
Requirements
  • Solid experience in a similar position.
  • Experience selling technology solutions in the legal sector.
  • Experience selling governance, risk, and compliance software solutions in the corporate sector.
  • Ability to embody LexisNexis values in all work aspects.
  • Good judgment, strategic thinking, and results orientation.
  • Political savvy, patience, flexibility, and creativity.
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills.
