Job description

As Sales Head, you will be accountable for the delivery of budget and revenue forecasts for the South Africa division. You'll be responsible for the development and implementation of the overall strategy, as agreed upon by EXCO. You will ensure the sustainability of revenue growth for our product offerings throughout LexisNexis South Africa.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop revenue contingency plans to account for unforeseen variances in forecasts and ensure targets are met.
  2. Generate and sustain a new business pipeline for all LexisNexis product offerings in assigned territories.
  3. Implement the annual strategic plan as agreed with the Executive Team in South Africa.
  4. Monitor and pursue opportunities in new markets and report daily on progress using our CRM system.
  5. Compile and deliver quotes, proposals, and tender documents.
  6. Research and stay informed of international and local trends and product developments.
  7. Develop marketing campaigns to increase awareness of products/services in the South African and African markets.
  8. Develop, implement, and monitor visitation programs to source new customers and opportunities.
Requirements
  1. Solid experience in a similar position.
  2. Experience selling technology solutions in the legal sector.
  3. Experience selling governance, risk, and compliance software solutions in the corporate sector.
  4. Ability to embody LexisNexis values in all aspects of work.
  5. Good judgment, strategic thinking, and results-oriented mindset.
  6. Political savvy, patience, flexibility, and creativity.
  7. Excellent customer relationship management skills.
