Sales Executive / SDR

Location : Johannesburg

Salary : R20,000 – R35,000 per month (base) + commission

About the Role

Are you a go-getter who loves the thrill of opening doors and starting conversations? We’re looking for a proactive and ambitious SDR / Sales Executive to join our growing team. This is a greenfield outbound role – you’ll be identifying new business opportunities, reaching out to prospects, and qualifying leads through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and site visits.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Conducting outbound prospecting and cold outreach
  • Generating and qualifying leads in target industries
  • Passing qualified leads to the engagement team for deeper sales follow-up
  • Visiting client offices and initiating conversations onsite
  • Learning the ins and outs of our software offering

What We’re Looking For

  • 2-5 years of proven sales experience (ideally in software, SaaS, or tech)
  • Excellent communication skills – in person, on the phone, and in writing
  • Confidence and resilience in cold calling and site-based outreach
  • Strong initiative and adaptability in a small, dynamic team
  • A relevant qualification or a solid track record in sales

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience in office tech, security, or access control
  • A strong LinkedIn presence or relevant audience reach
  • Ability to write and share insights about workplace tech
  • Understanding of customer pain points in access, compliance, or facilities
