PURPOSE OF JOB
To maintain and grow market share within the corporate franchise, supermarket chains, and independent clients in the designated area.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Marketing
- Extensively canvass and cold call potential customers in the assigned area based on the "Account Allocation Chart".
- Acquire new franchisees and opposition franchisees (Spar and OK Foods) to increase market share.
- Replace equipment older than 5 years.
- Advise clients on and sell new value-adding products to enhance their businesses.
- Plan and execute rollouts with clients in the region; target new franchise stores through meetings, visits, and cold calling.
- Negotiate pricing within established parameters.
- Visit 10-15 customers daily (approximately 60 per week).
- Maintain updated market share reports.
- Sell equipment and consumables as per the budget.
- Visit customers Monday to Thursday; attend sales management meetings with the Branch Manager on Fridays.
Project Management
- Ensure effective service delivery to new clients and proper installation following the Installations Checklist.
- Verify correct invoicing from sales orders; ensure completion of invoices and checklists.
- Obtain signed confirmation from the Service Manager and customer that installation is completed satisfactorily.
Customer Relations
- Maintain good relations with clients through at least four visits annually.
- Ensure client satisfaction; report and escalate issues as needed.
- Manage and resolve customer complaints effectively.
Reporting and Feedback
- Meet regularly with the Branch Manager to review results and sales metrics.
- Provide written reports after each meeting, including minutes.
- End-of-week reports on client visits and activities (Skynamo Report).
- Update the "Spar Members List" and "OK Foods Members List" regularly.
- Discuss strategies for new product launches and exhibitions in meetings.
- Arrange meetings between customers and international suppliers when needed.
Cost Management
- Contribute to budget planning and management with inputs to the Branch Manager and Finance Department as required.
Qualifications, Experience, and Knowledge
- Grade 12 qualification.
- 1-3 years of sales experience.
