Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is recruiting Sales Development Representatives across South Africa to open doors, drive pipeline and create the first impression of Blacksmith for prospective clients. You will own the top of the funnel, researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers.

This role is not about spamming lists; it requires thoughtful outreach, pattern recognition and smart communication using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role; agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalise outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalised outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
