Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to open doors and build pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel by researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, and you will create the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

This remote, full-time role requires strong written communication, self-motivation and comfort using outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo to hit volume

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role or similar; agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools to build and execute sequences and manage the funnel.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
