Sales Executive (Print And Labeling Equipment)

Our client, a well-established and reputable packaging and industrial print company, seeks to employ an experienced, target driven and well presented Sales Executive, who has gained 5+ years’ experience in cold calling, business development and sales of printing solutions, industrial labelling and/or industrial barcoding application equipment.

Please note that this role does require travel extensively across the region, to canvass prospective new clients, as well as attend trade shows, expos and related industry events.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full sales process, identifying new clients and developing business relationships to conclude the sales cycle.
• Prospect and cold call, following up on leads and building profitable relationships with existing and prospective new clients.
• Have a sound understanding of print, barcoding and labeling machinery, networking systems, and print inks/applications.
• Be administratively competent, able to analyze costing requirements and calculate costings, estimations, and draft quotes.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans with effective communication skills, both written and verbal; proficient in drafting and presenting presentations to executives and decision makers at prospective clients.
• Be able to travel nationally when required and have a valid, unendorsed driver’s license, coupled with a clear credit and criminal record, as well as contactable references (verifications will be conducted).
