Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive with a background in Plastic pipe / Concrete Pipe sales to join our team in Olifantsfontein. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in sales, specifically in the plastic pipe industry, and experience engaging with senior-level executives (EXCO). This is a key role in driving the growth and expansion of our sales in the region, managing existing accounts, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Drive sales growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities within the Plastic pipe / Concrete Pipe Sales market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and key decision-makers at an executive level.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to key stakeholders and clients.
  • Negotiate and close deals with customers, ensuring satisfaction and long-term business partnerships.
  • Provide detailed market feedback and insights to the management team to shape future sales strategies.
  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs, consistently meeting or exceeding expectations.
  • Lead and coordinate with the internal sales and technical teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Participate in industry events and trade shows to promote the company’s products and expand market visibility.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements :

  • Proven experience in sales, with a specific focus on plastic pipe products or a related industry.
  • Previous exposure to working at an executive level (EXCO) or dealing with senior decision-makers.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented with a strong focus on achieving sales targets.
  • A good understanding of the plastic pipe industry, including market trends and customer needs.
  • A degree or diploma in Sales, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in CRM software and sales tracking tools.

Preferred Qualifications : :

  • Previous experience in managing key accounts or high-value customers.
  • Technical knowledge of plastic pipe products, applications, and installation processes.
