Main Purpose

Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company's products and/or related services. As a Sales Representative, you are delegated specific authority related to this job description. This delegation applies while you continue in this position.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership: Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and ethics codes, ensuring they are communicated and implemented within the team.
  2. Sales: Responsible for selling company products, services, and solutions within a designated territory, in conjunction with the Sales Executive & RAM. Responsible for meeting sales budgets, establishing and maintaining relationships with customers, identifying sales opportunities, negotiating and closing deals, making calls and visits, coordinating with marketing and management, resolving customer issues, and attending trade shows.
  3. Administration: Preparing bids and quotations, developing annual business plans, maintaining customer databases, keeping accurate sales records, scheduling visits, collecting customer information for marketing, researching industry trends, and submitting reports.
  4. Minimum Requirements: Matric with maths and science, 3-5 years electronic sales experience (preferably mining industry), computer literate, product line management experience, valid driver’s license.
  5. Skills and Attributes: Achievement orientation, critical thinking, decision-making, planning and execution, stakeholder management, communication, cultural competence. Details include setting goals, taking initiative, responsibility, continuous improvement, effective communication, inclusivity, and relationship building.
