Job description

Job Title: Sales Executive

Represents the business in the marketplace and with the Sales Manager as the principal liaison and point of contact between Operations and 3rd Party Distributors (OTAs, STOs, Wholesalers, PCOs, Travel Agents).

The Sales Executive is responsible for positioning the business, its services, and offerings in the marketplace to maximize occupancy at the highest possible rate.

This role collaborates closely with relevant Department Teams to ensure coordinated efforts between Sales, Reservations, and Operations, facilitating comprehensive site surveys at the organization's properties.

The role also ensures that 3rd Party Distributors, Consortia, OTAs, and PCAs receive timely updates on Service Rate and Promotional/Campaign information for inclusion in their marketing materials.

The Sales Executive may attend trade shows and events with the Sales Manager to promote and sell the hotel and its services.

Qualifications:
  • Degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management or Financial Management
  • Extensive background in Sales and Marketing
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales operations of a luxury hotel
  • Effective communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
  • Proficient in OPERA
  • Skilled in UpSell and CrossSell strategies
  • Experience in market data collection and analysis for Market Studies
  • Ability to anticipate future circumstances and plan accordingly
  • Knowledge of financial best practices
  • Proficient in managing various booking channels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
