Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full-cycle sales experience in travel, FX or payments.
  • Understanding of the travel trade ecosystem across African tour operators, DMCs, and accommodation providers.
  • Experience working with travel companies or international payments is a bonus.

Sales Executive – Fintech Travel Payments

Location: Cape Town or Remote | Full-Time | Travel & Fintech

Roam is on a mission to simplify international payments for Africa’s travel industry—and we’re growing fast.

We're looking for a Sales Executive who’s ready to lead growth across Africa and global markets. If you love the travel industry, thrive on closing deals, and want to help businesses scale—this is your next big move.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle: from prospecting to pitch to close
  • Win new business with African tour operators, DMCs, and accommodation providers
  • Present and demo Roam’s platform with clarity and confidence
  • Collaborate across product, marketing, and operations teams to deliver value
  • Use CRM tools (Salesforce) to manage pipeline and meet sales targets
What You Bring
  • 5+ years’ experience in full-cycle sales—preferably in travel, FX or payments
  • Understanding of the travel trade ecosystem across African tour operators, DMCs, and accommodation providers
  • Strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset – proactive, curious, accountable
  • Experience working with travel companies or international payments is a bonus
