Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Executive to join the George team.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Identify and develop new business opportunities within the courier and logistics sector.
  2. Manage and grow relationships with existing clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  3. Present and promote courier solutions to potential clients through cold calling, networking, and client meetings.
  4. Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations to prospective customers.
  5. Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  6. Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  7. Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  8. Work collaboratively with internal teams including operations, customer service, and finance to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

  1. Grade 12.
  2. Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Business Management / Sales and Marketing.
  3. Minimum 3 years experience in sales within the courier, logistics, or transportation industry.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  5. Ability to generate leads and convert them into long-term clients.
  6. Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  7. Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle (advantageous).
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

Education:

Grade 12, Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Business Management / Sales and Marketing.
