Are you an experienced Sales Executive with a strong background in commercial vehicle sales?

A leading truck and commercial vehicle dealership is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to drive sales and grow market share in Durban and surrounding areas.

Key Requirements:
  1. 5 - 8 years of proven sales experience in commercial vehicle sales
  2. Existing database of fleet owners and logistics customers
  3. Strong deal-closing and negotiation skills
  4. Bilingual – English & Afrikaans (advantageous)
  5. Valid Code 14 driver's license with PDP (preferred for test drives & client demonstrations)
  6. Excellent presentation, communication, and customer service skills
  7. Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sales & Business Development: Drive sales of new and pre-owned commercial vehicles to meet and exceed sales targets.
  2. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with fleet owners, logistics companies, and transport businesses.
  3. Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and engage new customers while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
  4. Market Intelligence: Stay updated on competitor activity, market trends, and pricing strategies.
  5. Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a deep understanding of commercial vehicle features, specifications, and performance capabilities.
  6. Sales Reporting: Provide weekly and monthly sales forecasts and performance reports to management.
  7. Negotiation & Deal Closing: Ensure effective negotiations and closing of deals with customers.
  8. Compliance & Administration: Ensure all sales documentation, financing, and agreements adhere to company policies.
