Description :
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Consumer & Commercial division at Marsh. This role will be based in Sandton hybrid and has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to :
- Efficiently multitask, prioritize and manage time while being goal-oriented and organized.
- Be a self-motivated team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Engage and influence clients at C-Suite and high-net-worth levels, understanding their personal asset perspectives.
- Identify risks and provide solutions, acting as a Trusted Advisor and single point of contact for clients.
- Deliver proactive service within SLAs and TATs, maintaining a deep understanding of key clients and their industry positions.
- Drive company growth through new sales, clients, and territories leveraging five years of sales experience.
- Conduct sales presentations, cold calls, and develop effective proposals while overseeing the sales process for quality assurance.
- Negotiate deals, conduct thorough research on prospects, and cross-sell products and services to maximize client engagement.
What you need to have :
- Insurance qualification, preferably ACII / HCII or Fellowship.
- Minimum 5 years appropriate experience in the personal lines sales environment.
- Relevant formal qualification.
- Must have RE 5.
- CPD as per requirement.
- Must be FAIS compliant as per DOFA & Proof of credits from INSETA.
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
- Insurance Brokerage experience.
- Presentation skills.
- Basic computer skills and experience with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on superior Excel skills.
- Matric certificate.
- Mathematical and computer literacy (MS Office specifically strong Excel and PowerPoint skills).
- Proven success track record in career history of success in a New Business position.
- Own transport and driver’s license.
