JOB PURPOSE :
The role of Sales Executive is to secure new revenue for EPX by effectively identifying new opportunities, sales planning, establishing a healthy pipeline and management thereof, successful implementation and meeting set targets.
QUALIFICATION & MINIMUM REQUIRED JOB EXPERIENCE :
- Matric - Compulsory
- Logistics Qualification - Advantageous
- Sales Qualifications - Advantageous
- Previous industry experience - Advantageous
- 3 Plus years' experience within a new business sales role
- Proven track record of successfully meeting targets - Compulsory

DAILY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Strategise, plan and execute on developing a lead list through cold calling and/or scheduled appointments.
- Convert leads into qualified prospects.
- Identify customer needs and partner with EPX to meet those needs, presenting the value proposition effectively.
- Present compelling presentations to customers on the EPX solution.
- Ensure all sales activities are updated daily within the EPX CRM System.
- Monitor conversion ratio and identify areas of improvement within the sales cycle, e.g., lead generation, prospecting, needs analysis, solution building, and closing.
- Manage, monitor, and understand actual performance against set targets.
- Maintain a pipeline with sufficient qualified prospects to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Implement new accounts effectively, ensuring customer induction and internal communication.
- Accurately forecast potential opportunities.
- Identify target industries/verticals fitting EPX's service profile.
- Monitor customer bad debt and claims history, addressing issues proactively.
- Manage customer service KPIs to uphold service standards.
- Identify problem areas and collaborate with internal teams for improvements.
- Record lost opportunities and reasons for loss.
- Understand competitors and EPX's value proposition in comparison.
- Manage and monitor forecasted versus actual spend to ensure revenue realization.
- Negotiate rates increases where applicable.
- Understand unprofitable accounts and develop action plans for correction.
- Inform management of market initiatives by competitors.
- Provide proof of monthly commissions earned.
